hand rear brake line

Default hand rear brake line


for those that have a cbr 929 that have the hand brake for the rear..
sup, i have a question, how long of a brake line would i need to run this setup, from a 2001 cbr 929,
i want to run an additional hand brake line for the rear brake, i just got the lever with the resevior but dont know how long of an brake line do i need..any help is appreciated..
btw, i did a search and nothing came up..

i have the levers and resevoir already, just need the brake line, and want to know how many inch is the line... thanks

figure out how you want it routed with some sorta mock up line and then measure that. I used to work at a shop that made all kinds of hoses and line for cars and hydraulic systems, i made a hand brake line for a friends bike and i just took the uncut brake hose and ran it from the left clip on infront of the triple tree and along the right side of the bike where i thought it would go to the rear brake. Just plan out how you want to route it, also make sure you don't just measure to the rear mastercyclinder, take into acount that it will have to bend up or what ever and bolt to it. I have seen kits online for hand brakes but a local hose shop should be able to make one for you.

Use string,then measure the length,it faster,and cheaper
