Default First Wheelie!!

Did my first wheelie on the way home, not sure how I did it. Came up at 11k (stock gearing). It felt like the front wheel came up 6 inches... but it was probably 3 lol. DId it after a group ride....there must have been 16 people in total, a few passengers. It surprised me... I have tried before to do it and it never worked out. Got to thinking that 600 need a sprocket kit to do so.... but nope. And i dont know what the heck i did to do it.....lol. Its 3:29Am l8ter my bedtime.

I had my bike lift the front end while getting on it turning left in an intersection. Can't imagine what all the cars thought when I did half of my turn on one wheel.

lol gotta love that feeling. Not sure if this info is frowned upon in this section of the forum..... But there's a stickie in Stunter's Corner that should explain exactly what you did to get it up (no pun intended). If you need more of a visual, check out Nick Brocha's How to wheelie tutorial on Youtube, giving you some step by step guidance.

Yeah I'm moving the thread to Stunters Corner. Riding Skills would be more for how to prevent a wheelie.

Good job. All the wheelies I've done have been accidental. And now Yolie won't let me do any at all
