Easiest burnout?
I've never had a desire to do burnouts. I'd rather save my tire for the twisties. But it's getting to the wear bar, and it's kinda the untold rule that you have to finish your tire out the way it would want to.
I tried it once in a puddle and almost lost it and hit a curb.
Whats the easiest way you've found for the CBR?

PUT your weight on the handlebars you might have to stand on your tiptoes to touch the ground. Push down on the bars , hold the front brake get the revs up and let out on the clutch. they're really simple man just use the front brake. good luckand like everyone says take pictures[sm=trust_me.gif]

get rolling about 20mph or so, start grabbing front brake and slipping the clutch, as soon as the back tire lets loose, start doing circles....it looks way cooler...

lol thats definetely not the easiest way. just like seldon929rr said, front brake, all 4 fingers!! get your feet as much contact with the ground as possible, and squeeze the tank with your thighs, because the bike will slide to one side or another and freak you out the first few times, lol. but it really is easy. just get it revving with some force, somewhere in the powerband, and dump (F*#kin DUMP) the clutch. if you dont just drop the clutch, all you'll do is force yourself to rebuild it, haha.
i'd do the tippy toe ones first and as you get used to that, pull up your feet and let go of some brake to get it rolling...but dude, prepare to fall...cause it's just hard mang...hahahaha...so borry someone else's bike.

i really hope your joking...first of all how do you control the throttle that good when you have all 4 fingers on the brake? i use 2 or 3 fingers on the brake and the rest cranking the throttle...and put it to the powerband and dump the clutch??? like i said before, i really hope you were joking...

Here's a clip what the folks here are talking about. I took this when a chap was demonstrating his abilities to a very receptive crowd. Notice how the rider puts his weight on the bars, then begins his burnout. I know you can't see if he eases out on the clutch, but he does....a very smooth burn, and his control is such he can continue burning as he rides.

dude, go up to your local bike shop and ask them what they do with their old tires. i'd bet that they'll let you have all the old tires.
my shop told me that they get charged $3/tire to get rid of the old ones, and when i asked him if i could take the decent ones he was very happy, because i'm saving him money.... ****, he picks out the good ones for me and i just show up and take em.
i've gotten some niccccce ****ing tires from these dudes, like 75-80% tread life, no flat spots, no holes/plugs. all for free. no need for a brand new tire if you're just gonna destroy it...no only that but you should have a nice stack of tires in your gargage.
