Do cops tend to pull over bikes w/ crash cages more than ones without (im not talking about when im actually stunting)? I am thinking of getting a cage on my 2000 F4 but in the past month I've been pulled over twice for pretty big infractions (aggressive driving and about 100 in a 40) and ONLY gotten warnings (verbal noteven written)both times! I'm afraid if i get a cage and perhaps a 12 o'clock bar my days of getting warnings will be over...anyone with a cage have any thoughts on this?

** just a reminder we here @ the cbr forums don't support or condone running from the police. if you get lit up just pull over , man up and take the ticket .. there is a reason cops are suprised when we stop because of thosefew individuals out their ruining our image as sport bike riders who will run over a simple speeding ticket. don't give the 5-0's more reasons to hate us**
if you want to get a cage do it hell even add that 12 bar too and if asked what they are for say for protection if your bike crashes

This reminds me of a time when i was at a gas station. A dude in an SUV pulled up and was lookin at the 12 bar on the bike and asked what it was, I told him and he said he thought it was a luggage rack or something. I was talking to him about doing wheelies and what not and he said he was down here from some place that was hours away. I asked why and he said he was giving tests to motorcycle riders that wanted a license. He was a MSF instructor. I was like, what the hell are you talking to me for. Im the idiot that you guys are trying to weed out. HAHAHA, he was also a custom chopper builder. I thought that was cool. He showed me some rims he was working on there were in the back of his SUV.
Just my little story.
