Default building cage's

What's everyone's opinion on this? I have a friend who makes steel fence's. He could bend bar's and weld and all that good stuff, anybody have an opinion on such a thing

sometimes it is cheaper and better. I had a friend in the steel business make me a camera stand for 20 bucks. it fits on the gas tank and he even put cusion on the bottom for added protection. I saw the same thing but heavier on the internet for 120.00 bucks.

Make sure he knows what needs to take the impact on a cage and study other designs to maximize impact dissiption. a cage is to protect the motor. So make sure he know how to brace it. itll be a few tiral and errors. thats what my stunt boys did, 120-170 bucks for each cage got expensive fast.

where are good mount points on an f3 to attach the frame? i cant find a picture of a cage on an f3 to save my life[:'(]
