another noob wheelie ?, rear tire pressure??
Alright, ive finally got pretty comfortable clutching it up in 2nd right to BP. The problem now is, once im there i feel like i have no control left and right and a lot of times i normally drift towards the right. I can ride a wheelie for a few seconds or so, but id like to ride one as long as id like.
So will lowering the pressure in the rear tire help my balance from left and right? or do i just have do figure out steering a little better? (just to clarify if im drifting right i would turn my bars right, left hand away from tank right hand towards, to go left? i try but doesnt seem to help)
If pressure will help, the other question is what pressure would help me out though its a daily driver type bike not a stunt bike so i dont want to be in danger elsewhere is my pressure is too low
Thanks! and if it matters the bikes a 99 900rr

NO. not at that speed it won't, it will make it worst. for anything over 30mph. and yes that includes 2nd gear wheelies, stay between 35-42 psi. i stay at 42 psi.
the reason you can't steer your wheelie left and right is because ur are not at bp, meaning you're not high enough.
so cover that rb, and stop bein a *****, gas it some more and take it up higher......the higher you go, the easier it will be to steer left and right.
but i recommend that you practice all this in 1st gear, master it, then go to 2nd
