I went from using a flat 12 bar to a round bar with the same tail just still have the slits in the side from the flat bar! Also it is going to be very tricky to get something good that will bolt the the sub frame and allow the tail to side over without cracking, i would just suggest doing an outer tail saver. The reason it is so nice is because it gives you way more feeling when manipulating the bike! heres a pic of mine and the tail saver!

I just hate the look of the outers. I know it's a stunt bike and it won't be pretty but still if I can try to keep it half way decent looking I will. I do feel like yours looks nice and flush thought. I see your rockin the on point cage, how do you like it?

I think it will hold up nice, I've dropped it pretty good a few times and aside from scratched paint its holding up nice, I would recomend it for sure, its a little pricey, but I've seen other cages in person bend from one good drop! I used to be the same as you, wanting to keep everything as stock as possible, then when I got started and progressing I realized that it was holding me back so I did what i had to do to make it function better, and I think the bike still looks baller! People always say how nice it looks

Oh there is no doubt that your bike doesn't look good, it is one of the best looking stunters I have seen. I know my bike is going to get beat up in the end do I don't care too much, and I'm sure I'm going to change my mind a bunch of times too. i honestly just can't wait to get it completely finished so I can get some seat time in and really get some good practice sessions in. I have everything I need to finish, just a matter of installing the chain and impaktech cage now.

Right on, if you have any questions when you hit the lot don't hesitate to ask! FYI I run my idle at around 3500rpm, and when i started i ran about 18psi in the rear and im around 25 now. having lower pressure will help with stability.

I'll definitely take you up on that. I used to frequent stuntride but since it got blocked at work I haven't been on much. I know when I turn my idle up to like 3.1k it pulled at about 1800 in gear. I also plan on lowering my pressure when I get to the lot and hitting the gas station for the ride home to fill it back up. Unfortunately I have no truck to take the bike back and forth at the moment.

Adjust your idle while your in gear it should run 3000-3500 in gear, so of course it will run high when in neutral, it sounds like to much at first, its not. Get a small hand pump to put in your backpack, it sucks but it will save you trips to the gas station.

RJ,
I added you, my name is Mike.

I dee dubbed this weekend and finally got my cage on. All I can say is what a pain in the *** when trying to mount it to a FF bike. I am not looking forward to having to take the cage off every time I need to get under the plastics.

I gotta admit though, she feels like shes bullet proof now.

Looks like a solid build, when are you going to beat the tank in?
