Can anyone explain what kind of difference...feeling etc for doing wheelie...
Is it drastic??? I only just got comfortable riding 1st and 2nd gear wheelies... will the method change a lot???

Noticable, but not uncontrollable.

It will make wheelies much easier, and will give you some get-up-and-go!
