06 600RR -- can't get it up

Cool, just keep doing it SLOW don't try to rock the bp today, you have to work up to it. About the clutch thing, thats just what works for me. If you only need to slip it a little and it works keep doing it like that. You should try a staggered stance standup, now that you have a feel for the clutch. After I started doing standups my sitdowns are 100X easier to do and I get them way higher than I was before. Before I was just doing speed wheelies and could see over the windscreen a little, now I look through the hole in the fairing where the fork tubes go through to see if I'm on my side of the road LOL. But just use the same method that you are using now for sitdowns during your standups, but with a little less gas. Put your left foot on the left passengers peg and leave your right foot covering the brake and slip the clutch and your off. I think standups feel better once you get the feel for them, but I still need to work with my tire pressuse to get them more stable. I think I might go to 25 today and see if it feels better, I know I have too much right now.
Good luck and just don't try to get ahead of your self

You guys are great.
I really like the idea of standups...Im 6'4", and when i staggered the pegs, I feel so uncomfortable...maybe it's because I have long legs.
I should note, I'm rocking like 42 psi. I'm sure that wont help me get it up, but it sure as hell will cause a little unsteadiness?
I'm glad theres no worries with the clutch...so I'll press on and keep working at it.
Thanks

So I've got some good news!
I went out today...rolling at about 18mph pull the clutch give it a little rev and she picks right up! Quick too!
I kept going thru the motions, trying to be consistent. It will pick up maybe a foot. But it's a starting point.
I'm no where near the next step...but what's involved to get it higher? Is it as simple as going a bit faster and clutching it up higher in the rpm range?
I was sitting down too...too afraid to stagger as of now.

to get higher: give it more gas as your clutching (when you pull the clutch in)
just becareful, the more gas you give it the quicker it'll pop up. esspecially if you're going slow.
just add a little more for right now, get comfortable with it popping up. then give her a little more, thats all there is too it.
keep at it...
