I did the same thing once in Japan. For some reason my Evo didn't trigger the light. Weird.

Check your laws, here in Wisconsin you are allowed to run a red light if you have reason to believe that it is weight censored and the coast is clear.

Im not sure of the laws in Maryland but I run lights in the middle of the night all the time, so many of the are not sensitive to motorcycles, not to mentions the pressure pads in parking garages....

You might want to try putting your kickstand down on to the magnet on the road.

If possible I move up so the car behind me triggers the light. If there is no car behind me, I wait for two sequences, if nothing changes and the coast is clear ill run it, ONLY if the coast is clear though. But most of the time I dont have an issue, flashing while coming up to it works on main roads as the lights are programmed to assume its an emergency vehicle. And rolling right on the cuts works for me too. I never heard of these magnets, I gotta check that out!

I'm a new rider and I just experienced this issue today lol...I pulled up right outside of the box and nothing...finally a car pulled up aside me and triggered it. I was quite afraid to blow a light as a new rider. Thankfully I was assisted!

i always stop my bike right over there a few of the lines are clustered together, and that almost always trips it. i used to stop right over the box where the wires are all ran to, but that never worked.

I have done that too, I must admit. For a left signal arrow lane, I will just blow through it after it misses me the first time.
