Default The purp...fighter F3 build

Cool, somewhere I can share this build, thanks CBRF! the perp, a '96 f3 600. This will be a share as I build thread. If you have questions/suggestions feel free to add..please forgive me if I'm slow to finish this, I'm at that stage where life...well, let's say the government jobs are finally getting the economic effects the rest of the country did 5 years ago and I'm working on a career change. This will get done though, it's been on the back burner for to long already. Thanks for the support in advance peeps. Lord knows I need it. OK enough..her 'tis!

The bike was payment for some work I did for a friend who longer comes around. Bike was wrecked bad, split the gauges in half. No keys so I changed the locksets. I ripped it apart and puff canned the frame black. the subframe was bent so I had my uncle cut and reweld it on. The tail fairing in the background is from a triple speed that I began glassing in until I found of the subframe still bent. Guess he drank his payment before he started welding. That was about 4 or 5 years ago. I bought a welder set up and will be brushing up on my skills over the next few weeks, then it's go time. The plan is, just go with it. I got a lot going on so I won't make any promises. I can tell u though, the cafe/fighter idea I have is pretty sick. Subframe first, then street legal stuff for inspections, then go from there.

Got some practice time on the welder today and I think in ready to go. Tomorrow I'll look for a place that has a good supply of metals then have my way with her tail.

No plans Conrice, just go with it. And Garret u have No idea...since the weather has been to crappy to weld I've just been researching....found a machine shop around the corner and picked up some material, siked! couldn't tell who was more excited though because the owner gave me a tour lol. Anyways been working on some lighting ideas, tested, should work. Just waiting on the weather to clear up. Here's a teaser photo for now.

Oh ps: anyone know where, as in a website, to find leds resistors or any smaller electrical components? I found a few but they r pricey, and radio smack will pocket change me to death if I let them. Thanks in advance!

OWeather just started clearing up today, to bad my spring break is over. So all I had time for was getting the cancer out of the can. Just need a few rivets then it's on to the next.
