Default Front fairing/headlight?

Hey all,
I've got my '87 cane stripped down to the frame and I've got everything planned out the way I want. That is, everything except for the front end. I'm getting rid of the stock front fairing/headlight completely, but I still want some kind of fairing and a wind screen. I've looked on the internet for hours to find something I like and I've come up with very little. Everything is either too expensive, would take too much modification, or it's just plain goofy looking.

I think I've settled on using the headlight from a '03 or '04 Suzuki GSXR1000, but I'm still stuck on what to do about a wind screen or small fairing (for color). Anyone have some suggestions? I've also thought about using the upper fairing off a Suzuki SV650, but I'm not sure how much modification would be needed for something like that. Again, suggestions??? Thanks.

Check out the polisport headlights on ebay. They look pretty clean on bikes, or check out the one on my bike. Let me know what you think man.

any of the cheap ebay fairing/lights are going to be crap. there is some french company that mods gixxer lights to have a streetfighter fairing. a lot of SV'ers use them. i did a lil searching but i can't remember the name.

however, you could do a DIY fiberglass mask for the headlight yourself. then, it'd be a one off and you could really take some pride in it too.

RimiUSA.com, Automotive Lights has some good round lights. I Got a 7" round from them for like 20 bucks. Good quality. Has a bulb that you can find at any store, and it was inexpensive! I plan on making a little sort of mask, nothing much though. I might chop up a windscreen or something. There are guys that chop up 40gallon buckets into some good looking fairings. Get creative! good looking front fairings are really something that is rare to find.
