yea i degreased the crap out of the motor, then went at it with a tooth brush, then went at it with some water and soap, then dried it off

and after a recommendation from fathead on customfighers, he said to use dupi color engine enamel, its lasted two years on his ride

so i gave it a go, it seems like itll hold really well im pretty excited

ahh, ya i was wondering on how you get paint to stick to the engine because its aluminum, the temperatures, yada yada. i knew you can do it, but it'd chip off pretty quick. is that what he did to his f3... ? damn, i need to not be a panzy and just intro myself on there, no good pics of my bike right now though, its in pieces, the SSSA is going on!

lol i used the good stuff, gotta be careful with aluminum though and make sure to wash it off good, if it sits to long itll pit aluminum

you can get it at pretty much any automotive store... i always get the gel kind

its messy dangerous stuff, so always use it outside, most people wear gloves, i just make sure and wash my hands good while i use it, if you get it on ur skin ull feel it burning
