hahah I'll come up and ride with ya sometime man... take you up to Ocala into the forest. NICE roads up there!! Can't go this weekend because of my dumb ***, my bike is sitting in the garage with a flat rear tire and 2 bent wheels
But 2 new wheels are on the way, so hopefully by next weekend she'll be good to go again
Check out the pics... fun times!

As for the wheels... well lets just say I did a little off roading wed night on my way home from Hooters, LOL [:@] I was making a left turn in a dark intersection with no guiding lines on the road to follow, so it's kind of a shot in the dark as to where the road is, lol. And it doesn't help any that I'm totally friggin blind (20/100 corrected). Sooo I'm the first one at the light, turns green and I start to go trying to see where the median is. Well I guess in doing that I kinda veered to the left, and this intersection you have to go straight first and than left cuz the median kinda sticks out. Needless to say, by the time I was able to see the median, it was too late... BAM! Up and over the little island and back down the other side. When I came back down I was all over the place, but somehow (don't ask me how) managed to keep it up and never went down... phew! That would have REALLY ruined my night! I pulled into a parking lot to see what the damage was, which was..

The girl I was riding with was next to me and turning the same way, and she pulls in behind me and she was freking out, lol "OMG are you okay? I thought for sure you were going down!" hahah. I felt like such a dumbass, especially since I've made that same left turn a million times before (hell almost every wed night for the last 2 years, lol) and never had that happen before. I dunno if I just got distracted or cuz I was super tired or what, but oh well nothing I can do about it now. I guess for as much as I ride, and this being only the 2nd incident I've ever had, I really can't complain too much. Hopefully my new wheels will get here this week and I can get her back on the road again. Kinda funny, first thing I got thurs morning at work from everybody "OMG you actually drove a car today? WTF?" hahah

I'll never forget my worst fog experience... back in 1998 when I was 16, and just got my drivers license just a couple months prior. I was driving down to my sisters house at night (~3 hr drive), and when I was about 40 miles from her house I ran into this thick thick fog, and if that wasn't bad enough shortly into it it started POURING buckets! My vision already sucks so it's definitely not good for me. I slowed down to about 40 mph and had the wipers going full blast but still couldn't see anything... period. I didn't want to pull over cuz I didn't want somebody rear ending me, so the car I was driving at the time ('86 Buick LeSabre... big pimpin' LOL) had that bright *** digital dashboard, so I turned it as dim as it would go so I could see better, and the ONLY thing I could see to follow the road was the little white reflectors between the lanes, and just one at a time. I could barely see my headlights reflecting off the little reflectors, and just made sure I stayed a little to the right of each reflector as I went by it, and that's how I stayed on the road for probably 15-20 mins. Luckily it was a highway with only a few cross streets out in the middle of farm country, so no traffic or anything. I had one big rig go by me the whole time, that was it. I think to this day that had to be my scariest driving experience... fog + heavy rain SUCKS!! [:@]
