If any of you are ever in the Brooksville area make sure you go to the Hess station on hwy 50 on Sundays. There is always a lot of bikes and nice roads. Just hook up with someone there who knows the roads well and tag along.

update: just heard that the locals around that area aren't too pleased about the vast number of bikes that zip through. they (farmers, homeowners, residents, etc) actually went to the Hess station and started yellin' at all the bikers. cops showed up and had to calm things down. so i don't know about anyone else but the group(s) i ride with aren't going to ride in that area for a while.

I'm still going to ride. I just like to hit the corners hard, don't really speed on the straight roads. Usually I'll ride the speed limit until I see a good corner coming up, but after I hit the corners and back onto straight I slow back down. I don't really care to treat the road like a race track and time myself to a certain point. I just like to lean.

that's EXACTLY how we ride. slow in the straights... fast in the corners.

Nice!! Hopefully one day I will get down like that! I think what scares me most, seeing as how I have already wrecked before, is the fact that I really can't afford to fix the darn thing if I drop it again! Maybe if I save about $3000 I will be more ballsy on it!!
