So she starts now every time, and i havent tried it with the choke off yet, but the pilot jets are struggling that's for sure.

forgot to mention:
Im trying to get this bike on the road in a month:
its been about a week... you think i can pull it off?

Things to do:
-Repair small frame nicks and damage
-Put new parts on (shifter and rear brake assy)
-Recover seat (its in bad shape)
-Repair fairings and repaint
-Rebuild calipers/grease axels and clean swing
-Put bike back together
-New tires

And now im putting the carbs back on.
The only thing about this bike that puzzles me is all the emission lines that go from the valve top and such... interesting hoses.

apparently these bikes are known to, and i have to do a complete engine rebuild.

apparently the zx6e is notorious for wearing out the second gear early, and instead, i have to shift to third, or the second gear forces it back into neutral.

ive read countless tutorials on doing it, and its actually rather simple if you are mechanically inclined, (pulling the shift drum and replacing a few gears).

Ill probably be gathering funds to do that as well in the next month, but right now is the fairing rebuild. ill keep you guys posted.

So rebuilding the transmission... The actual engine is functioning? I thought you where going to have to do both and was thinking instead of a deal you got burned but just a tranny is no big deal...
This is what happenes when you don't buy a Honda.

yea second gear slips into neutral, but she hits 50pmh+ in first gear like a champ.

Better throttle response than my f3....
but yea.. my f3 has second gear
