The situation didn't look all that life-threatening from what I observed. I would have done the same thing.

same..

definetely would not have stayed on it, or behind it. i would consider it worth the risk, and assume* if the snow did break again it would break on the same line as the other snow, or collapse direclty under ski-doo, not under relatively super light me.

That was a very close call to taking a tumble down the cliff side.
+10 I would done the same thing

If he would have kept riding for another foot: Stop, Drop, & Roll.
