Looks like she was trying to steer into the corner instead of leaning the bike. I'm just wondering why it looks like there isn't a gas cap on the bike? Maybe there is, but looks like a hole in the tank to me. Kinda looks setup. Like a training video or something. I'm probably wrong though. lol

 

Hm ive got that same jacket. But yeah ^it looks like she steers into the turn as shes leaned over so the front end just washes out on her. As far as it being setup it looks like all the mulholland dr videos if you go to youtube and search mulholland drive crashes or anything like that so i doubt its a setup. People just stand at turns like this and video or take pictures.

 

At least she was wearing all her gear. Needs to understand the concept of how a bike turns a little better.

 

If you look closer you'll note her tire dips right before she "steers into the turn". I doubt very seriously she intentionally gave that input. Looks more like her tire came out crooked after the dip.

Actually that almost exact same spot (along with another) is involved with almost every crash video from that rnickeymouse guy. I'm positive there's something about those patches, especially where the road changes color, we can't see from the videos.

 

HAHAHA funny I gave the link to Kuroshio last week or so and asked the exactly same question. "Why did she?"

 

Having experience on that road, I can tell you that the decreasing radius turns capture many off guard.

 

doesn't look like she's comfortable at all on that bike.... she seemed tense, trying to just steer instead of lean and steer... the bike was pretty leaned over.


i think that lil dip in the corner, plus terrible body position, plus she was too tense was the reason she went down.

how many videos are there that are on THAT corner? - and it seems like an awful lot wreck there.

 

That's where the photogs/videogs are set up every wknd. They sell a LOT of photos due to The Rock Store being right around the corner (so to speak).

 

anybody else notice that she lets off the throttle a little, the bike starts to straighten up, then she gives it throttle again mid turn, right before she washes out? panic....?
