Default wagzhp has a new bike!

Picked her up yesterday. I still need to clean her up and get some better pics. It's a much more relaxed ride than our CBR F2. I rode her home from Reno, NV (about 2 hours away) and felt like I could have gone all day on the bike. It's a 1999 VFR800 with 56k miles.

Thanks. Oh, and I forgot to mention how sweet the Micron exhaust sounds on it. It sounds like my old Chevelle with a big block 427 with a gear driven cam shaft. I has a sweet rumble at low RPMs, sounds just like a V8 between 3k - 7K RPM, and sounds almost like a Ferrari above 7k.

It's much heavier than the F2 and less flickable, but is still very manuverable. I could tell it really wanted to fly through the corners on the mountainous part of I80 on the way home, but I would have never heard the end of it if I left my wife in the dust after she drove me up there to pick the bike up. Sitting here in the office it pure tourture, knowing the bike is waiting for me down in the garage...

A couple more pictures. The tank bra will be coming off soon. I found a place that sells color coded magnetic tank protectors, and ordered some for both bikes.
