Default Vote! Custom Paint Job. Like or Dislike?
I bought this 06 CBR 600RR today, Its in great shape, has tasteful mods but the custom paint job is where I'm 'stalled'. I'm not sure if I love it or hate it. Originally I was buying it to repaint it black, but after getting it home i noticed its a really good paint job. Its has nice accents and has pearl sparklies in it lol there isnt any cosmetic damage either.

Back ground: The paint just is based off the Shoei Limited Edition Troy Lee Designs - Picotte III Helmet.

In Strongsville by the mall. Go to school downtown at CSU, I'll be riding there everyday when the weather gets nicer

Well, it IS bright, but yeah, I'd run with it for a while.

I'd spend the spare change on looking in every nook and cranny,
making sure it runs as good as it looks.

Nothing wrong with having a "looker". Heck, maybe even some of
the cages will see you coming. It could save your life. ;-)

i kind of like it, im not that big on flames but that shoei helmet with it just makes it great. keep it for awhile see if it grows on you

agreed, the helmet plays a major role...

I'd trade for a pair of plastics without rash to anyone interested.

I'd hate to paint over this guys custom paint job just to paint it black... I dont want it to go to waste.

the tangerine color is ok, but i think the flames are overdone. too many of them....

i love the color and hate the flames just because i was never a fan of flames in general. But i definitely agree with trading them, dont pay for a paint job if you just want some regular fairings. Theres probably just as many people that love the paint job and would trade fairings with you in a heartbeat as there are people that would never put those on their bike. So just post up some pics online and wait for someone to come along. Maybe trade the fairings and helmet too for their fairings and helmet?
