Default Videos of my first race

Welp, here are the links to my first race at VIR North.... I started 30th out of 35 because i registered late. I finished 22nd and my teamate finished 23rd. The race got cut short b/c after the halfway point someone wrecked which caused a red flag, and a red flag after the halfway point means race is over. The wreck happened on lap 4, and i was actually in 21st place, but they reset the final positions to lap three. Im #20 and my teamate is #11. I have never been to a track before and my fastest lap time was a 1:45:229 and I was runnin 47's consistently, so I was pretty happy with my first performance. Can't wait till the next race, April 20th at Summit Point, WV

Awesome. That looked like fun, but kinda scary at the same time, 35 maniacs in close proximity to each other?

Good luck next month.

Default that's awesome!

Sweet, dude! That looks like so much fun.
So is there anything new you learned after that first race? or any advice you'd give?
It's my dream to get on the track and tear it up. Just for fun, not looking to get famous

haha, wow, this is one of my older threads.... yea i guess theres a lot of things i learned after my first race.... just a few to start w/.... throttle control, harder trail braking (in other words learning the tires capabilities), working out (physically fatigued after pushing hard)

the more you listen and talk to expert riders the more you learn about your own style of racing, so I learned a lot from my rookie 2008 season and am looking forward to a bright 2009 season.

about how much money a year do you need to race? (like everything, i know entry fees aren't that bad but there are a lot of costs other then that, like tires for track days and races, gas, leathers, parts, race plastics, track day fees for practice) I want to get into it but I really don't think I have the funding for it, (poor college student kinda budget).
