any one still trust cops? this proves they are just a person with a badge and gun and you just cant trust people no matter who you think is good and bad. in my opinion the cop in this vid was way out of line and should go to prision

 

yeah, pretty clear the guy was not attacking him in anyway. The cop should get charged with murder.... but will probably only get suspended with pay until the trial is over, then he won't get anything.

 

Similar **** happens here in Australia. This one is provoked but could have been delt with differently. That American cop though, what a complete waist of our oxygen. hope he's convicted and serves time.

this happened some months ago and this video was just released. the man was just carving wood for god sakes.

Drawing the gun is stupid enough in this scenario...let alone shooting the man 5 times...yes 5.

 

Yep, you can clearly hear the five shots. What a hero. Bring back public executions for wastes of space like that cop.

 

The video doen't show the mans reaction to being asked to drop the knife and all the other "evidence" is strictly audio... Stuff happens fast in the real world. Maybe the condemnation is premature.

 

What did the buy do when asked to put the knife down... we don't know its all off camera and is strictly audio what if he came at the officer with the knife.. again we don't know, granted the cop seems like a piece or chit but we don't know what happened. Being a combat vetteran ill tell you that 7 seconds is a long time. Dose anyone have the link to this story or just the video?

And no the condemnation is not premature. The guy is f'ing idiotic trash; the witnesses and reports say there wasn't any threat to anyone within the vicinity. His only excuse is that the guy did not put down the knife in the 7 seconds that he asked. Rofl, maybe tackling the guy is okay but shooting him 5 times?!

He was shot four times in the side. He was not facing the cop. Nor was the knife on the bullet entrance side. He had ear buds in and is deaf on the shooting side ear. Its not illegal to carry a knife in Washington. This is a BS shooting. Even eye witnesses say the shooting was uncalled for.
