Default Track Day at NJMP

Took the CBR out to the track Sunday, my brother is the guy in the Orange Vest, being followed by the instructor around the 6 min mark. Definitely a cool way to see the Thunderbolt track at NJMP down in Millville, NJ.

Perhaps I missed something or misunderstood but your CBR sounds and looks like a Motard.
Sweet video regardless of the bike!

the 88-90 hawks are cool bikes ive always wanted one as a second bike. ive tried getting a couple but the price has always been too steep for a 20 something year old bike. im about 45 minutes from njmp so im gonna try to head over there within the next year or so as well it seems like a decent track from your video.

Yea, it's a bit ironic. My brother actually has an 89 Hawk GT, that he has been tuning for track, but last minute changes to the rear suspension turned in to a nightmare. So i let him borrow my F4i, and funny enough his instructor was running the same bike he couldn't bring to the track.

I rode the hawk a few times, honestly not impressed, yes my brother got it for under $1500, but finding parts for it is a nightmare. It's cool if you're in to older more historic bikes, but not something i found worthwhile.

The Thunderbolt track is very competitive, and super fast. Definitely a great track for beginners to intermediate. I think the more pro guys get bored of it quickly.

Yeah i just think theyre cool and wanted it as a second bike to mess around on and beat up on, not as something id ride every where everyday but people wanted like 2500-3000 for all the ones i liked so i just laughed. i paid less for my f4i. As far as the track though that sounds fine to me ive never done a track day yet.
