sweet. the 600rr tail that is going on my bike has a broken vent on the left, now i have a fix....i had already planned on doing the maintenance panels and air ducts...now it will be all uniformed. good idea nick!

 

Thanks man, yea, it took me like 10 minutes. Just took the tail off, then there are 2 screws that hold in the vents, undo those, put a oversized square over the hole. line the vent back up, bend over the extra mesh, then screw the vents back in!!

 

Lookin' good. I was also about to do it when the whole rain/water issue came up. I thought about putting the plastic behind as well, but I didn't like the look of the plastic behind it with the fins. Also figured you wouldn't be able to seethe black mesh I was gonna use anyways so I just said screw. Might still do it a little later on and maybe paint the mesh red. We'll see.
