RE: Sweet Jesus, this would suck...
Completely fake for SO many reasons, but the ones listed so far are... yea, the depth perception of the crane being much farther down the road then where the accident occurs. Also, blue fox is right, the odds of that ACTUALLY being caught on tape like that are only less than the odds of something like that actually happening. Imagine being the driver in the car doing the filming, how many of you, regardless of how much you brag, can say that if a 30-50K pound weight fell 25 feet away from you, you could maintain a straight line without so much as a jerk of the wheel or bars. Also the camera, which appears to be hand held didn't even jerk towards the accident. And last but not least... WHY are they even filming in the first place? There is nothing going on in that video before the wreck. My guess, the same kids that produced this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yC6riyxyvQosaw an opportunity to make something different and jumped on it.
Sorry to be a Buzz kill but I had a Sh*tty morning and had to overanalyze something, this was the first opportunity I came accross.

A.) You wouldn't feel a thing. Probably one of the best ways to go.
B.) Does my depth perception have a flaw or does it seem like that crane is much further up the road than where the counter weight landed?
