Cool Summit Point WVU TRACK day 5/27

Nate Diesel Summit Point Shenandoah circuit Roger Lyle's Motorcycle Excitement - YouTube

The GoPro was a little skewed to the right so forgive the angle.

Here's a couple videos from my track day today.

it was AWESOME.

For reference this is my first track day, and first day at this track obviously.

I road in the B Group - there was no passing on the inside, and no passing in the turns at all and limited passing zones. I sorta passed a few times I wasn't supposed to near the end of the day, but whatever. Easier to get forgiveness than permission.

Nice man, didn't realize you were running Shenny. Same distance as Main + twice as man turns = . How'd the R6 feel?

yeahhh buddy. Was a great ride. Took a couple sessions to get comfortable with the track but after that I was good to go.

The R6? I'd say around the 3rd session we started dancin with each other pretty well.
Certainly has more guts, and the quick shfiter is a little strange, but I like it. had to think about the MotoGP shift a couple of times as I was entering turns but nothing too bad hahaha.

All in all I was really impressed with the bike. Glad I made the purchase.

I could probably have the suspension set up a little better for me, but its a small gripe. I think it's for someone lighter than me. But I have far more important things to work on before I start worrying about that too much
