RE: spud gun
Combustion Potato Cannon's are for Cave-men. My friend and i made one that ran on compressed air. 2 expansion chanbers that could hold up to 200 PSI total. necked down to one tube with an electric valve from a sprinkler system holding the air back. a 9 volt battery, a few wires to the switch and poof... 200 yards easy. and NO MISFIRES!

RE: spud gun
Never had a spud gun, however we did make tons of Works bombs.
Educational purposes only: get an empty 2 liter soda bottle, pour a few ounces of Works cleaning solution in it, throw in a few crumpled aluminum foil *****, screw cap tightly on bottle, and throw! BOOM! Had the cops called on us more than once with those.
