I totally loved this period in our history, I love to watch all these period dramas ... its the styles of that time that appeal to me,
the dress and the buildings with their resplendent architecture :-)

I could happily live then, if for no other reason than to dress up magnificently ..such flamboyance!! :-)

Beautiful countryside but I would fall asleep watching things from that period. My wife would LOVE it.

 

Isn't it like that where your from Jules? lol I wish I can go back to Medieval Times. We have a festival in Carver Massachusetts around Halloween time called King Richard's Faire with horse jousting and everything. Heres the site, not sure if there are many pics...

Such a simple life. Occasionally I have considered going Amish to get away from all of life's distractions and live pure.

 

I think I'll reserve my pessimistic views of this to myself.

 

I have in-laws who are horse and buggy Amish and trust me, you do NOT want to do that.


Oh...and yet another good song pick Jules. I have not met a woman yet who doesn't like a good period piece.

 

Only one problem with that period Jules...no motorcycles!

 

Um, well ..yeah, I think I might be bored without a bike so would need to take a few back with me ... can you imagine appearing in 1795 or something on a 600RR ..I would probably be burned to the stake as a witch!! ..lol ..mind you they wouldnt be able to catch me
