Default To sharpie or not

Been wanting something different this year and my wife is a good artist. Have been toying with the idea of sharpies for awhile now. Found a cheap helmet that is kinda close to the color of my bike so my wife did some stuff she likes.

It's inexpensive but my fairings are a 9/10.

But only gonna do front bottom third for now and go from there
So what's Your opinion? Gonna be more manly then flowers of course. Will it drop value of bike if I do try and sell it later down the road? Bike is only worth 2200 in my area.

Your wife is a good artist. That's some nice work!

Do what you like w/ your bike. If its what you want, go for it.

I say do it, I once saw a Yellow f4 that had a great sharpie job done to it. I really wish I could have bought it. Black and red would look great too

yeah i say it looks like your wife is pretty damn good at that so wetsand your fairings and let her have a go at them. worst case scenario you have to spend $450 on new fairings if you really hate your wifes artwork, which if you like sleeping in your bed probably wont be the case. As long as shes up for the task itll probably come out better than most custom paint jobs you see, and ive always liked the sharpie thing so i think you should go for it.

It's been said before, but here it is again

If you like the look, then do it!

Your wife will probably love you for letting her touch your baby. Who knows what kind of rewards that will yield in the future!

I think customizing is what makes it yours.
Unique. Nice work she does. It'll look good.
As CJardine said, clear coat it

Well I hope she gets a chance to work on it next week. This week has been crazy. I put the plastics back on for a a nice ride the other night. I work this weekend so maybe pull them off tomorrow night and let her do her thing. As for clear coating. I have tried the krylon fusion clear on the helmet and it turned out ok. Just not sure how long it will last.
