no not at all. just take the seat off and take the 2 bolts holding it, then turn off the fuel, and take the fuel line off and presto its off. i thought it would be a pain, but it realy wasnt. the hardst part was getting all the fuel out lol

Rattle can, yes?

If you keep it a matte finish, a rattle can paint job can turn out quite impressive.

Werd. Dont you hate it when you have a great finished paint job and you **** it up by trying to clear over it?....

no it was not rattle can, thats not the finish of the tank. that last pic was the 2nd coat. this is my first paint job so i kinda went cheap, because if i ****ed it up or something then i am not out much. i got the paint from advanced, the color is dupila color ( sorry the spelling) deep blue it was $20 for a quart for the paint, prime, and clear, so far i have $60 in it and got half of it done. i plan on finishing it up this weekend, and just temporaly putting the pieces on the bike and taking more pics

Iwill keep updating, like i said i am hoping it will be done this weekend and i can just post it all. As of right now i am just planning on putting the same decals that was on it back, but in silver. Then i was thinking i have a buddy that does airbrushing, so i might have him airbrush them. I am not real sure on what i am doing yet.
