Sportbikecam.com for the mounth and a JVC low end mini dv. Resolved.
If you buy a top of the line camera, make sure you keep the receipt so you can return it. The image stabilizer sucks on the higher end cameras. At least for the high vibrations you get from a bike that is.

Seriously...
I know it will be jerky...and was questioning if the little memory card would even hold more than 60 seconds or so...
I'll look at the JVC...though at the moment...even for around $300 I think someone else mentioned....that's a bit out of my price range.
I still am going to shoot a video of some high speed sweepers...some mid speed chicanes...and some flat out long straights at way over the ton.
I'll figure it out...post the vid...still might be cool....

I've got the solution...duct tape it to your helmet, voila! Cheap, easy, and you don't have to mod your bike.

I'm thinking of building a small mount from one of the relectors on the front fork...
Be more of an interesting angle than the usual dash mount cam...where all you see is a digital speedo...and a fairing glass that needs cleaning..
Again...I'll post the results...and then take a look into a cam with a faster processor.
Not today though...thunderstorms...
Blah...hate the rain....

Not so sure that is the best idea for setup of the cam.....looks a bit fishy to me. Perhaps on a pedal bike but not a sport bike at 100 mph

My model is a bit different than that one.
I thought of putting it in my helmet and holding it in place with my visor as well...about 3 days ago.
Only one problem.
When you turn the model camera I have on to shoot video, pictures...or just turn the damn thing on for reviewing...
a lens extends about an inch...inch and a half out...thus not allowing the visor to close.
Also...my model camera is a bit taller than that one...and blocks my eyes...
Which...might be interesting video to watch for some.
An obstruction caused blind guy riding a bike at 100+...but to me...might hurt a little...possibly.
As soon as it quits raining, and lightning and just being sorry *** weather wise...I'll figure something out.

Get yourself a device called a "sticky pod". It's a suction-cup mounting device for digital cameras/video cameras/etc. They have really small one specifically for motorcycles. And yes, they do stay on. I have a larger one for a Panasonic HD Mini-DV camera we use in class. We filmed a rally racing sequence with my car and the Sticky-Pod never once even hinted it was going to come off.
If you get one of those, that would get a camera angle NO ONE has seen in these kinds of videos.
