not what you ride, but how you ride
i love laguna, that's for sure. everyone always talks about how that back straight is more inclined than it looks on tv, and man, are they right! it was like they were climbing a mountain. i love that place
but you have to wonder if that guy would ride a 250 on other tracks? on laguna, it's pretty short and very technical, so i think the 250 would be really a lot of fun there. but on other tracks like miller or road america, i'm not sure i'd have as much fun on a 250 like i would a 600
I have fun riding my 400 at Miller. There are 4 different track configurations, and for my the most fun is the East track. The West track is more technical with a nice triple apex corner in it that when you nail it is very satisifying. The perimeter or full track and you fall asleep on that front straight with a smaller bike!
