My friends, the police

This is fun...
Anyways. BS!
That cop could of done a couple things. One- Told them to pick up the board and walk with it. Two- He could of gave them tickets.
I watched it a couple of time too. Yes the kids were being brats. But they are kids. Everyone is like that at that age. Unless you sit at home with mommy watching the Oxygen Channel. If you were riding a bike through a mall and a cop tackled your *** off the bike would that be excessive force? I sure think so. Putting a choke hold on three teenage kids because they are skateboarding and being smart @sses. Excessive force!

If you re-read my post, you will find that I wrote that the officer yelled at them to stop. The kid didn't, and ran from the officer. (this is evading the police by the way.) Same thing happens in car chases. Police pulls you over.......you run, you get taken down. Same thing on the streets. If an officer tells you to stop, you stop. If you run, expect to be tacked down.
If I was on my bicycle riding through the downtown mall, and a police officer yelled at me to stop, but I took off, I would expect them to tackle me off my bike.
Now do get my point?

RE: My friends, the police
Everyone is mising the real problem.
Two R's...
Respect and Responsibility.
Alot of parents don't teach their kids to respect anything these days...much less some crime wave killing cop with pale legs and a burr haircut.
(If this guy was military...I'd hope he'd have the ***** to be on a real beat. Soldiers don;t whine about how "dangerous there job is"...waa waa)
If I were leader of the world...
IMO...the kid's need some...."correcting"...
The cop needs to get in a little golf cart police unit and tend parking meters for about 6 months....at half pay.

They are kids skateboarding. Telling them to stop and them running is not a big deal. In my opinion them running is his job done well. They are not skating there anoymore. Problem solved.Because they tried to run is aB.S. excuse to to what he did to them.

RE: My friends, the police
I didn't see anyone running. Personlly if i was going to run from the cops i would RUN not stand around and watch them arrest my friends. Looked like they were standing around watching to me. Still don't see a good reason to choke a girl out. Hell he could have held her at arms length easy. Besides if you have that big of a problem wouldn't the wiser thing to do would be to call for some assistance. I think he was pissed because he was a bike cop. Maybe he will get promoted to a moped know. Or one of those sweet harleys the cops love so much.
