RE: my bike just went up on ebay
I agree... As part of Military training I had to watch a video showing guys who were doing 140+.. Basically it was not pretty... It make me sick, sad, scared, etc. I really wish you all a safe ride EVERYTIME...
Please be safe!!!!
You really have to watch out for the OTHER driver because nobody is watching out for you...

RE: my bike just went up on ebay
when i see stuff like this, two quotes come to mind that keep me riding
1. Live every moment like it is your last, it just might be.
2. NEVER trade the THRILLS of living, for the SECURITY of existence...
respect to those who have given their lives enjoying something they love. Much respect to those who have given their lives while protecting/serving this country.

That vid should serve as a reminder to ride within your limits, and the limits of the retards around you.
You really can't let vids like that change your mind about riding though... If you do, then you're only riding around in a cage. Then you see some really bad car accident videos. So you move up to a SUV. Then you see bad SUV accidents. So you stop driving all together and start taking the bus. What next? Bad bus accident videos? Everything in life has it's risks. All you can do is try your damnedest to make the risks acceptable to you.
I'm going to the pool this weekend.... I know people drown all the time, but I'm still gonna go. Simplistic view, I know. But life has no guarantees. Hey, you could bite the bullet slipping on some spilled pickle juice in the grocery store.
Show our sport and our bikes the proper respect. Watch out for the other guy. Wear your gear. Love your family and friends -- and tell them that you love them. You just never know.
