At first I was wondering what the big fin deal was but I guess its like a lambo in that it is handmade. I suppose if you are into that then it is worth it. But me, no, thats ok. One slip and 120 Gs down the drain. I'll keep my 2.5 G ground pounder.

According to that first link, 200 hp right out of the box, and a (claimed) dry weight of 412 pounds. The engine is actually about 1075 cc.
Compare that to the 2006 CBR1000RR: 155 hp and 390 pounds dry.
Add racing exhaust, PC, etc.
From a performance standpoint, the MV is definitely not worth it. But then again, you'll probably be the only one riding one.

If I could I would buy two.One for the street, one for over the fireplace.
That's a dope bike right there. Aledgedly one of the best handling motorcycles ever made and with 200hp I would beat it like I stole it.
