I would definitely say a pod structure would be considered modern / futuristic.

Well, I did drive the bike to work (just got here) so I might as well go snap the pic on my way home... good catch Spdyg!
Ive been to busy with work to look for challenges... on the bright side me and a few other of my friends are going to ride up to san Francisco for thursday and friday... we are planing on taking some pictures/riding across the golden gate bridge/and hopefully a good size tunnel. We might go to the national redwood forest...
Thanks guys. It's a funky looking structure- toms of metal and brick in crazy shapes. I haven't been inside yet. I think it opened last year.

Googie challenge revisited: The Venturo, right beside the museum/Ace Corner. Doesn`t even look like a building from this angle...
At least a little more from the side. Needs a LOT of work, but it`s getting there...
