This is the second half of my morning commute for one of the schools I'm teaching English at. There's a good 10 minutes or so of highway before this, but it's boring to watch someone ride at moderate speeds on a highway.

Anyways, enjoy. It's not incredibly fast riding or anything, but some uniquely Asian scenery as well as an interesting road.

Are those red lines in that turn just for safety or are they like an anti-drifting mechanism?

 

I can't really tell. As far as I'm concerned, they're just there to make you glad you've got a good tire and decent suspension on your bike.

 

When I was teaching in SK I always wished I had a bike - you there for the long haul? I didnt figure it was worth it for the year contract I was on.

 

Very cool vid, Ray. Thanks for posting it up. I always enjoy seeing rides in other places. The scenery really gives a feeling of where you are. The flat trucks, tractors, cars, buildings, etc.

 

Nah, I'm coming back to the US next month.

You're right, if you're here to make money, it's not worth it. Repairs, gas, registration, insurance, etc. Korea just gave me an opportunity to learn to ride. The biggest bonus factors for riding here are the fact that the police don't bother you really when you're riding a bit faster than you should and the mountain twisties are some of the best I've seen (well, compared to twisties you'd find in the NY/NJ/PA area).

 

Wish I had twisties like that on the way to work... that'd brighten up my day
