Turtle is good eatin. Never had freshwater turtle, but I had sea turtle steaks, kinda like a mix betwwen pork and gator.

 

those are definately not an endangered species there city boy, andthose were only medium size snappers. They can get much bigger, and take your finger off.

 

Watch the video on this forum. Catfish may eat their own **** but theys good eating. Man I wish we had them that big around here. You're lucky to catch a 10lb.

AAAAAWWWWWHHHHH Damnit I'm from Kentucky. I'll be honest there are lots of people like that here but it depends on what city your in. I live in Louisville and it is the opposite of that as a matter of fact it is the 13th largest city still I believe. I am a city boy but my fathers side is this side of Kentucky thank goodness my my raised me alone lol

 

thats funny, im from oklahoma.. i have noodled plenty of times..
We used to bury 50gal. drums in the cove at the lake.. wait for them to nest in there. that way we know its no beaver/snake.
Its a blast.. .

but i dont mess with turtles.. period
