Default Just a quick Reminder

I shot this image for myself a couple months ago... After hearing about a death of a rider who wasn't wearing a helmet in my hometown(in Texas)... I just thought I would share it with my fellow riders.

*Disclaimer, this image was produced by me, for personal use. I am in no way affiliated with Arai helmets, other than the fact that I own and wear them... It is what I had around to photograph the inset photo."

Ewww. Yeah, that gets the point across.

Random aside but related: boyfriend was out riding today on his gixxer 600. Pulls up at a stop light next to two busas, both of which were being ridden by guys not wearing helmets. They made fun of both his gear (full leathers/helmet) and his 600. Seriously, what goes through people's heads?

Busa riders are mainly straightline, non-twisty riding, low riders.

Who cares what they think...or don't think I would guess.

Nice pic though.

How many tries did it take to get the egg cracked perfectly? Did you do long exposures or?

Half a dozen eggs... The hardest part was to get it to ooze just right. It was lit with strobes so I was probably shooting at 1/160th.

Thanks for the comments.

Hmmm, if they're not wearing a helmet lots of things ... road signs, handle bars, little rocks, car grills, windshields ... really, the list is endless ...

Nice pic. So did you get paid for it?

Busa riders are special. I had one a few months ago about cause a crash when his baseball hat blew off on the interstate. He hit his brakes in the highspeed lane so he could stop in the median and go back to get it. About got himself killed for a baseball hat.
