oh yea...in the first pic..that mirror that is missing...was only taken off so it didnt get smacked. They both are there now. And he is giving me his 2 helmets...even though i already have like 5 of them..Ill give one to my girlfriend to make her feel a little better about me getting the bike.

 

i thought the same thing with my F3, but seriously - it's better then the 80's bikes or suzuki's 90's.. so i just look how bad it could be.

 

Yea, i have a 1981 Yamaha Maxim XJ650G right now. Its a cruiser...this is still much more stylish than that. But im going to keep both bikes for now. Ive put a lot of hard work into the other bike. It was destroyed in a flood, i rebuilt everything, stripped it down to the frame, rewired everything, rebuilt the engine completely, got everything painted, fixed broken parts..ect...
on the F3, This winter i want to strip at least the fairings off and clean and lube what i can get to.

i loved my f3. it was my first bike and did me good.

 

well seeing how good with bikes (seeing how your stripped one down to bare and going to do another one) if you want the more aggressive look to the front, you can probbly remount a F4i front fairing with just alittle plastic weld and new mounts.. i've seen tail conversion's alot on F3 to F4i's (or RR's) so anything is possible. just remember, if you do - PLEASE PLEASE D.I.Y. pictures haha.. if i could on my F3, i would but all that is salvagable on the bike is the frame and engine (and the engine is going into a mini dune buggy soon enough)

 

My F3 didnt do me well. It layed me on my back and gave it to me real strong!!!

UPDATE!!! just got word im picking it up thursday instead of friday!!! cant wait, getting it a day early!!
