If only I could have my bike cleaned by this guy!

RE: If only I could have my bike cleaned by this guy!
Its all relative. A wealthy owner of a $500,000 car spending $9400 USD on detailing is the same as an owner of a $30,000 car spending $564. I can't even begin to imagine how much goes into maintaining or selling a used exotic like an Enzo. With the insane maintenance costs, insurance, etc. that goes with ownership I would do everything possible to maintain its resale value.
Its seems crazy to us because people that own cars like that live in a different stratosphere. They make so much money that they can afford to have other people do what we do every day. In fact, they CAN'T afford to do it themselves. It would cost them too much money. If that $500,000 car represents 10% of their yearly income ($5 million) and they took the 6 hours to do it themselves it would cost them $10,146 (5mill / 12 months / 4 weeks / 60 (hours worked), which doesn't include the cost of Brazilian carnuba wax and all the other necessities. It sounds like a bargain to me. If I was an investment banker, with a family..would I want to spend 6 hours doing something that I could easily afford to pay someone else to do (and a much better job I might add) or spend what little time I have out of the office with my family?
