The pilot got 14 years and has to pay $1.42 million in compensation; co-pilot got 8 and has to pay around $492K.

wow!! horrible to see bloody bodyparts just strewn about like they are roadkill or something... and the children who are just wandering around through that mess... sad

 

I don't think the pilots got what they deserved. Should be in prison for life. I know the pilots of the Blue Angels aren't allowed to eject, and they are trained to steer the plane as far away from people/buildings as possible in the event of a crash.

I wasnt there but other videos on the webshow the airplane in a stall. I looked like it was going to crash into the runway or a field not into the crowd, once he ejected it caught lift and then headed into the audiance.I wasnt in the pilots shoes at the time of the ejection...... who am Ito judge. I am sure that the pilot did not set out to kill poeple that morning.

 

only in Russia! the pilot ejects to save his own s but cut down the people. don't know what to say.....

 

Ugh! I'm never going to an airshow again!!! thats unbelievable!! and very very disgusting!!!!

 

I guess I probably need some help, but it didnt really phase me at all. Then again I spent a month at the Pentagon after 9/11 literally scooping off body parts from the floor with a shovel. I can't stand the smell of jet fuel to this day.

 

I'm just wondering if the victims had their price of admission returned???? (J/K my way of dealing with the carnage). I did not see in the video when the pilots ejected. It looks like the plane stalled or lost power and was not re-coverable. I can't really say what I would've done if I were them...but maybe the survival instinct took over at the last second.?! Don't know...can't honestly say what I would've done. It is horrific anyway. (Don't eat Lasagne while watching this video).
