ouch, hope he's ok man. ...everyone on you-tube thought it was hillarious though. There's some sick puppies out there.

i saw that vid a while ago and have been looking for it since joining this site. glad someone found it. if he knew what he was doing he could have got out of that.

Yep. No countersteer, hardly any lean. I think he actually tried to steer left while leaning left, and that's what caused his front end to jump like that.

it was hard to tell what caused the headshake, road looked pretty clean... ouch.

Good thing he didn't go over the wall, that kinda looked like a drop off on the other side.

I think he was preparing the downshift when the cam went to his left hand. Then he sped up, let go of the throttle to try to correct his target fixation and then hit the throttle again while his bodys' center of gravity was in motion and induced the headshake. More or less he was target fixated let off the throttle and jumped back on it to speed out of the corner, then the rest is history. I could be wrong.
