Honda rider down
Today I was on my way to work and my wife called mevery upset. She hit a guy on a Brand new 600rr...the guy was flying down the road in a 35mph zone she said she never saw him she turned into the driveway after waiting on 2 cars to pass and nshe just heard a boom and saw a guy fly over her hood. Apparently he came out of a side road, her cousin was outside and said he heard the guy get on it, so he looked over and then saw him slam his brakes on locked up the front tire that skid for about 30ft, laid the bike down and slid about 30 more feet into my wifes car. He broke both his legs, bones sticking out, and got care flighted to the hospital. He was wearing a helmet, no other gear, had road rash on his back legs, arms....He was going stright into surgery when he got at the hospital...we are going to call ni the morning too see how he is doing.
My wife wanted a bike before this...now she wants me to sell mine...

Ouch!![:-] Damn that thing is f'd up!! Sounds like the guy was being an idiot going too fast.... hope he's alright though! People need to learn to just slow down on these city streets....
Prayers for a full recovery for the rider! Hope he had insurance on the bike, cuz it's done for!

Sucks for everyone around. Hope your wife doesn't think that hes a good representation of all riders. Well, high speeds on slow suburban roads doesn't sound, or look, for that matter like a good combo.

Damn, that really really sucks.

Sounds like the dude was bein a squiddo'n somethin stupid.
May have been avoided if he was not speeding.
I sure your wife is pretty shook up after that. Hope she's doin ok.

my wife is okay now...but she still wants me to sell the bike...I do feel sorry for the guy but hope he doesnt stop riding but hope he learns a lesson....cant say I have never speed nor can anyone else here...But its the chances we take, we love to ride...

N8 Dawg, I hope your wife is okay and let you keep your bike. Has for the dude, I really hope that he learn his lesson. This could have ended very bad for him.
My wife does not like me riding also and like your wife she wants me to sell it too. Her dad had a very bad accident years ago when he was hit on the freeway by a cell phone user.
