I would to see how modern street bikes and GP bikes compare on the track. For instance, do this same thing with a Honda RC212V and a CBR 1000RR.

I'm betting a newer stock 600cc streetbike would be as quick as that GP bike now days. (That was an OLD GP bike).

Faster than a 1984 500 2-stroke? I kinda doubt it. It might be a little more nimble because of suspension technology, but I'll bet the weight is pretty close, and the 500 had ALOT of power.

yeah all the older gp riders said the 500 2 strokes were a beast
