That was an amazing story. She should go to motorycle safety courses and tell her story. Just let them no the risk of not gearing it up. A couple of weeks ago my Alpine stars jacket busted a zipper down on my wrist had to send it in to get repaired for free. Rode the next day 5 miles and had a low speed fall. Oil on the road in a turn. Cut up my knees and tore up my gloves. I got lucky. Havent rode since and wont till I get my jacket back. Gear is just to important.

WOW, shes one tuff chick, and she still rides! she had some major rash, enough to make some people not even want to look at another bike again.
I couldnt imagine having the skin scraped completely off your knee caps......shes tuff
Gear is important.....In the summer I usually only wear my jeans and a tshirt and a hlmet always, but I did invest in a texile jacket for the summer next year, for now I have my leather jacket.

WoW
I always thought that sneackers and a t shirt in the summer was allright as long as you had a helmet and gloves.
Defenetly not anymore. Will stick to jacket, gloves, helmet, and boots.
No need to look cool, because how cool are you gonna look when you're with a t shirt and scares all over your arms.
Good post.
