Well with the other driver being at fault. He can sue. A simple citation is all the police are gonna do, the rest of it is meant to be dealt with in court.

Why go with a free swing?

Have the idiot pay for a new bike, and all the medical bills.

Hit him where it really hurts... in the wallet.

They cited him for what he did wrong, liability is settled elsewhere. WTF were they supposed to do, shoot him? If he had done it maliciously that would be a different story and a different citation. If it were two cars would you be pissed off at the ticket he got? I seriously doubt it.

Let a civil court decide the damages and go from there. If he is at fault rape the ******.

^^ My thoughts exactly, but as always, you have a better way to get the point accross than I have.

Sorry to hear about this bro.......always kills me to see this happen to someone I know or don't. Hope he pulls through and isn't hurting too bad. Best wishes to him.

I hate how they always blame it on the rider....never the dumbass driver in the car, who's on the phone, drinking coffee, and smoking a cigarettes when they are the one at fault......pisses me off that a biker who is just out for a ride has fingers pointed at them every time something happens like this. PROFILING! They should be ashamed of themselves.....Fin reporters!

thats all they can do, but in court when the guy is sued... that failure to yeild will show that he is at fault... just like when the guy rearned me they gave him a ticket for following too close
