wow now that's scary. Idiot's always use the same excuse - I didn't see any motorcycle!!!! That's just a lame excuse if you ask me, if you cant see a motorcycle you need your vision checked and should not be allowed to drive. I love to ride - hate to ride around traffic anymore too many idiots out there that want to rage on motorcyclists.

Hope the guy is ok and gets back out there riding again - although getting stuck under a burning car is a scary incident. SUE the sob for everything he owns!!!!

ride safe and watch out for idiots, you can never be too safe. The rider looks to be wearing all of the right gear, that was a big ++.

 

what is really crazy is that is near where i live. We have had so many motorcycle accidents this year because of drivers not seeing motorcycles. The rider of the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet either. Here is the story with commentor

dam, after watching it again I see a guy in his suit and tie just stand there and not even help get the motorcyclist out from under the car, guess he was the driver and didn't feel he had to help? didn't want to get dirty what an *******!!!

 

its uplifting to see people come together in a tragedy and help someone in need. I'd love to see the video of the crash to see what led up to this.

 

from what the report said the driver pulled out and the motorcycle rider saw it and laid the bike down to prevent from crashing but ended up colliding with the car and ending up underneath it.

TURN

This left turns are scary...no matter if they are coming out from driveway, or opposing traffic waiting for a LEFT. Some driver just don't see us or they are on their smartphone texting....he is lucky to have all those guardian angels there that day.... Just he thought of that split second decision one must make ? Either to ground bike or to take a leap of death over vehicle and risk being hit by other drivers.

 

I wouldn't be so quick to judge. He's probably in shock wondering how he's going to live with the thought that he just killed someone, if it is indeed the driver of the car. Not exactly in your right mind in situations like that.

I'm glad to hear that the rider will be okay. It's disappointing to see a complete lack of gear on his part, though. I can't help but think things would've ended better had he been wearing some typical protection.

 

i gotta move around there, a guy got killed local to me last month and everybody was ridin past slowin down to take pics untill a few stopped to cover him up i even read there was some lady arguing with the firefighters cause she couldnt get close enough to get a good cell pic. i hope that guy will be allright another near me 2 months ago laid down and slid under a van broke both arms and legs but died a few days later
