Default Cruising around Finnish countryside! Mattson`s vids.

The summer`s finally here! The trees have leaves, streets have been cleaned, the weather is slowly getting warmer, and I just recently bought myself an action camera to get to show you guys some of the beautiful Finnish nature and some winding backwoods roads! I thought I`d make my own "channel" for these, and post them here as I get them on the reel and edited.

As a debut video I right away get to show you one of, if not the most fun little road I know! A really tight serpentine road going from Heinola to Sysmä through the back forests of Marjoniemi. One of the only things wrong about this road is that as you can see, it`s so curvy there`s very few places to pass a slow moving car if you happen to get stuck behind one (the fun starts as soon as I get past those two cars, I thought I`d not edit out the part before them so you`ll see the whole road), and should you decide to drive through this way, there`s another 12km of dirt road to drive to get to the other end, but every once in a while, it`s totally worth it!

Heh, looks like I`m not the first one to post this road up in youtube

Roads so small rarely have those here. All the bigger/more used ones have. That red van sure got me a bit spooked coming in the center, but I kinda knew to expect that...

The road in your vid reminded me of a few tracks. Looks like a fun road.

Yes, it really is. What the camera doesn`t show you is there`s several little lakes that shorelines the road follows. Some you can see, but not all. Also the height differences are bigger and the hills are steeper IRL that they show in the vid. If you go fast enough over the little bump after the red house in the tight right corner, you can get your front wheel in the air in a relatively low speed. I did that the last time, now chickhened out at the last moment...
