Corbin Seat

Corbin Seat
Just put a Corbin seat on my bike. Still trying to decide if I like it or not. I like the feel of it but miss the ability of being able to slide back an forth on the seat with the stock seat. That way, your bum isn't always pressing on the same places. With this one, your a$$ is planted.
Anyone else have or had a Corbin? Opinions? Thanks!

But with your *** planted, is it more comfortable?
I've heard a lot of good things. I want one, but can't seem to bring myself to pay $300+ for one. Seems like everyone I talk to says it's worth it, though, if you ride the distance. I'm on a 1000F, though, so I guess it's a little different? My seat isn't bad. Never been on a 900RR, though.

I have a Corbin Gunfighter on my '91. Despite Corbin's promise that the seat would form to my fanny after a time it's been two years and it still isn't comfortable. By the end of a five hundred mile day it's pure torture, even with a break taken every fifty miles or so.
My next seat will be a Sargent.

Nooooooo!!! I didn't fork over the money for a new seat. According to their website, they don't even make them anymore for my year. I bought mine for $60 used. Still in great shape. It is definitely stiffer than the stock seat. I think they both have pluses and minuses. To me, the Corbin is more comfortable for longer rides, but I like the stock seat because I sometimes like to sit more upright by scooting up towards the front of the seat. You can't really do that with the Corbin because of the hump in the front. It hurts your "junk".
